I bought the first one not sure if it was going to work well because of the reviews. However, it worked extremely well and we didn’t have to fill it as often as our other ones, it also did not get the slime that we get with the ones that have filters. I liked it so well that I bought two more. I have five cats and a dog and they adapted well to it. It is quiet and it is running well.

This cat likes to play in her water. Bonus points if she can tip the entire bowl over. we’ve had this for 24 hours now and it has not been tipped over, and there’s just enough water on top to drink, but not play with . I have 3 cats and a dog and all of them have transitioned with no issues.

Absolutely, worth every cent! Easy to assemble and sooooo great for 2 large household indoor cats! I use to literally have to sweep 3 times daily to get the litter cleaned up it catches it immediately when they get out and it's easy to dump after several days!!!! Love it so much highly recommend!!!!

Ease of Use: Very easy to use. If you have the fountain with app control, you can set it to empty every 24 or 48 hrs OR you can manually empty it. If the water level gets low in the dish the sensor automatically detects and it puts more water in.
Size & Capacity: I am very happy with the clean water capacity.
Ease of Cleaning: I cleaned it before first use and it was really easy to clean. I'm very happy with the product. It does have 1 very small filter that comes with I think 6 replacements but it's washable and reusable. They just send you some replacements to have whenever you do have to replace it. 8 can handle that. My other fountain had 2 filters that had to be replaced every week and it just recycled the water so you can imagine how nasty they got in just 1 week.
