When powered by the battery, to maximize battery life, remote control via the app is unavailable, the continuous water flow mode is disabled, only the Sensor-activated water flow mode can be used.

When external power is interrupted, the fountain can switch to battery operation. For cleaning or storage, follow the shutdown procedure in the supplied instructions so the unit cannot restart on battery power.
